Devil in the White City Tour
Sunday, July 16, 2017

Chicago Architecture Foundation (CAF)
1:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
CAF Shop and Tour Center
224 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60604

This bus tour explores the compelling true story told by Erik Larson about two simultaneous events in Chicago history: the World's Columbian Exposition of 1893 and the emergence of serial murderer Dr. Henry H. Holmes. The tour begins with a presentation featuring period photographs of the Fair and its central characters, followed by a bus tour to locations and buildings that fairgoers would have experienced.

The tour begins and ends at the CAF.

Be sure to add The Devil in the White City to your summer reading list!

Cost is just $25 per person for the tour; limited tickets available.

Following the tour, enjoy refreshment and conversation at Brando's Speakeasy, 343 South Dearborn Street, located within easy walking distance of the drop off at CAF Shop and Tour Center. Guests may pay with separate checks.

RSVP by Monday, July 10, 2017. Register online now or contact Alumni Relations at 309-341-7238.
