A Day of Lifelong Learning at Bishop Hill

Special Guests: Jon Wagner, professor emeritus of anthropology, and John Norton '58, Bishop Hill scholar and Swedish historian

Join Knox alumni and friends in historic Bishop Hill, for a walking tour, lunch, and lectures by two experts on Saturday, June 17. Wagner and Norton will delve into little known facts about the interaction with locals and the day-to-day struggles of these Swedish settlers. Even if you've been to Bishop Hill, you will likely come away with a whole new understanding of this prairie Utopia.

Cost is $17 per person for a deli buffet lunch catered by PL Johnson's Dining.

Note that this event will take the place of the June FYC lunch on campus. However, we invite and encourage you to attend the 172nd Commencement. Actress, producer, and philanthropist Eva Longoria is the 2017 Commencement speaker. Special VIP seating will be available for FYC members.
